Announcing the 2026 Legacy Builders Honorees
Legacy Charter School is proud to announce our 2026 Legacy Builders Honorees, two extraordinary partners whose vision, leadership, and enduring commitment continue to shape the Legacy community and expand opportunities for our scholars.
Individual Impact Legacy Builder

Founding Principal and Design Director
We are honored to recognize Avi Lothan as the 2026 Individual Impact Honoree.
As the architect behind Legacy’s Platinum LEED–certified school building, Avi helped design a learning environment that reflects innovation, sustainability, and a deep investment in the future of our scholars. His vision created more than a building, it established a space intentionally designed to inspire learning, creativity, and community for generations of Legacy scholars.
Avi’s connection to Legacy did not end with the completion of the building. He continues to support the school as a donor, consultant, and engaged member of the Legacy community, regularly sharing his expertise and encouragement with scholars. From attending the annual Leadership Breakfast to engaging with scholars during Career Day, Avi remains committed to helping scholars imagine the possibilities for their futures and understand how thoughtful design and leadership can shape communities.
As Avi shared: “We were not just designing a sustainable building, we were creating a lasting community.”
Community Impact Legacy Builder
This honor as the 2026 Community Impact Legacy Builder is well deserved. Since the inception of Legacy Charter School, Dentons has been a founding force behind our mission, helping bring the vision of Legacy to life and remaining a steadfast partner ever since.
As leadership has transitioned across generations, Dentons has continued to uphold that founding commitment through a culture of engagement that spans the entire firm. Legacy volunteers and supporters come from every level of the organization, from partners to associates to professional staff, demonstrating a shared and enduring commitment to the success of our scholars.
Today, Dentons team members remain deeply engaged in the Legacy community through Mock Trial, Career Day, mentorship, volunteer service projects, and other scholar-centered initiatives, consistently investing their time, talent, and expertise.
What began as a holiday gift drive has grown into an annual firmwide fundraising campaign supporting experiential learning opportunities for Legacy scholars. This year’s campaign was the largest to date, engaging more than 80 Dentons donors who came together across the firm to invest in transformative learning experiences beyond the classroom.
Dentons’ impact is not defined by a single initiative, but by a sustained, collective commitment to ensuring that Legacy scholars have access to the opportunities, experiences, and support they need to thrive.
A Legacy of Impact
We are deeply grateful for the ongoing support of our honorees, who embody the spirit of Legacy Builders, leaders whose vision, generosity, and partnership help build a strong foundation for the success of Legacy scholars today and for generations to come.
